Change Style Indicator® and Change Navigator™ Self-Paced Certification
What is The Change Style Indicator®?
The Change Style Indicator® is a leadership assessment by Discovery Learning Inc. that is used to help leaders understand their natural style of approaching change and to develop more effective ways of managing change.
After completing the self-directed questionnaire, an individual’s responses are analysed and plotted on a 120-point continuum between three key change styles – Conserver, Pragmatist and Originator.
The Change Style Indicator® provides insight to leaders to:
- Discover their change style preference on the continuum
- Learn how change styles influence perceptions of others
- Learn about three key styles for dealing with change
- Explore the advantages and strengths that each style offers in an organisation
- Improve interpersonal and communication skills
- Increase teamwork and cooperation
- Avoid conflicts and reduce unproductive time, enabling teams to resolve issues faster
Sometimes people are surprised at the results but once they read through the description of each change style, they start to recognise their behaviour and come to understand how their style impacts on their ability to be comfortable with and navigate times of change.
What is the Change Navigator™?
Change Navigator™ is a change process model that has been designed from the ground up to help individuals accept and support change initiatives faster. Change Navigator™ takes participants on a journey through the stages of transition that are common to periods of change and helps people to understand and navigate them. It focuses on the emotions of individuals as they navigate change and the predictable stages of transition.
Change Navigator is approximately a two-hour experience that can be conducted in any environment that is conducive to introspective learning. This is an ideal tool for helping those who will be affected by a change event to minimise time spent in the change curve which ultimately leads to faster and more successful change initiatives.

Neural Networks offers a blended-learning certification program that will allow you to administer the assessments, generate reports, deliver presentations and facilitate activities that complement the tool.
The certification can be completed remotely and at your own pace in three easy steps:
STEP 1 - Contact us to register and begin the certification process.
STEP 2 - Complete the self-guided online learning modules at your own pace.
STEP 3 - Participate in a coaching call with one of our certified master trainers, focused on building the skills you need to use your DLI tool with confidence.
